 The Broad Prize is awarded each year to honor urban school districts that demonstrate the greatest overall performance and improvement in student achievement while reducing achievement gaps among low-income and minority students.

Featuring superintendents from four finalist districts: Frank Till, Cumberland County Schools (CCS); Michael Lin, Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD); Cindy Marten, San Diego Unified School District (SANDI); Terry Grier, Houston Independent School District (HISD)
