Please feel free to pass Mr. Louis Gray's contact information on to your school counselor. The mission and goal of The Gray's Project is to create a partnership between the school district, local schools and the families fostering a relationship aimed at student success. Mr. Gray believes teamwork is essential for student success, but understands the struggles that families often encounter.  Mr. Gray supports the belief  "that is takes a village to raise a child", and a team to make them life long learners aimed for success.
He asks for community involvement calling on everyone to invest in the future of a child.

The Gray's Project also wants to help families, offering several different resources to anyone in need of help. Again there are no fees associated with these services for students or families.

The Gray's Project offers: tutoring  and mentoring services. ( in the school, local library or student's/family residence).

All members (educators & tutors) of Mr. Gray's Team - are certified through the school district.
(The G-Team) as they are known have all passed background screening.

Student's  are encouraged as well as parents to contact your local school district to see if they have partnered with the Gray's Project. If not please encourage them to do so. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Gray or his assistant.

Culturally Relevant Pedagogy Ladson-Billings wrote that culturally relevant teachers exhibit confidence in African American students' ability to learn by maintaining high academic expectations and affirming "their cultural identity . . ."
