The Career Ladder Pathways Toolkit
This toolkit includes profiles of adaptable career ladder pathways models, resources, and best practices to help address the five common talent management challenges that contribute significantly to equitable access, resources that will help LEAs implement the Department’s recommended framework, and steps to design and implement robust career ladder pathways.Click on the links in The Career Ladder Pathways Toolkit box above to access these tools and resources.
The Annotated Career Ladder Pathways Sample, tools, and resources highlighted in the toolkit will provide all LEAs with differentiated supports to develop or continuously enhance their career ladder pathways. The toolkit is accessible and designed to meet the needs of a wide range of audiences. For example:
- Superintendents and design teams may find the profiles particularly useful for deciding how career ladder pathways can be designed to meet their LEAs’ needs.
- Teacher and principal leaders will likely find the resources within the toolkit such as professional learning modules, conversation protocols, and observation templates particularly useful for carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
